NOT FAIR, NOT SAFE! Stand up now to SAVE OUR NHS!

Junior doctors across England are fed up! And they have every right to be so regarding the Tory government’s plans on NHS reformation and the new proposals for their new contracts. It’s not about their pay which, by the way, will be cut by up to 40% should these plans are imposed. It’s about saving NHS.

After last year’s cuts in Social Care which led to an increase in NHS patient deaths, the Ministry of Health of the newly elected Tory government is now attacking NHS staff, in this case blaming junior doctors for “messing up the NHS for their salaries”.

Is it them though or Jeremy Hunt and his government to be blamed for this utter disorder in NHS? The answer is obvious since it was the Tory government that decided 20 billion cuts last year, signing the major privatisation deal of 780 million, not the junior doctors.

Now, with fewer resources and less funding, they come to suggest a “24/7 service” of the NHS. As if NHS doesn’t provide emergency care 24/7, as if there are no doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, porters, radiographers and lab technicians on weekend, evening and night shifts providing continuous healthcare service for the public. All that staff and especially Junior Doctors (JD is a term used to separate them from the Consultants) work in many cases over the end of their day shifts, offering loads of unpaid service to make sure that patient safety is not jeopardised.

What do the new JD contracts involve?

• Safeguards monitoring doctors’ work hours are banned. These safeguards are established to ensure that doctors wouldn’t work continuously for too many hours, in order to avoid mistakes due to excess tiredness that could potentially cost a patient’s life. Removing these safeguards will result in a work overload of more than 70 hours a week on top of an already unacceptably long hour working schedule. In other words, it’s a matter of time to see exhausted doctors looking after patients and consequently poorer quality of care, higher error rate and patient safety being at risk! It’s absolute government hypocrisy to refer to the European Working Time Directive (EWTD) that clearly states the average week working hours to be less than 48, negotiating at the same time with the European Commission its’ ban.
• Removal of protection for maternity leave – Penalising doctors for taking time off. Maternity leave protection is banned, penalising the unnegotiable right of every human being to have a family. On top of that, doctors who work part-time to take care of their families or doctors who get involved in research to promote and improve current medical practice are penalised for doing so.
• Extend JD routine working hours to 10pm including Saturdays. At the moment, NHS staff that provides acute care works 24/7. The final pay is the sum of the basic salary plus the banding which is an additional pay for working during what is considered as unsocial hours, like weekends, bank holidays, nights etc. Extension of the routine working hours will mean, reduction to what is considered as unsocial hours leading to reduction of the banding pay which consists an essential part of the total salary. JDs expect a pay cut of 15-40%, especially those working during these unsocial hours. This will lead to further demoralisation of doctors who feel undervalued and less motivated to work in a health system that doesn’t reward their services.

The facts:

1. JDs are not well off, nor over-paid. Their starting salary is £22.600 per annum whilst the MPs basic salary is £74.000 for considerably fewer working hours per day. Furthermore, they are obliged to cover the cost of their progressing exams themselves, which could be up to thousands of pounds, on top of the huge student debts that they already had in order to cover the cost of their 5-6 years of studies.
2. The fact that the British Medical Association (BMA) left the negotiation table is a lie since the government never intended to negotiate. In fact what they did was to announce the main terms, informing the BMA that only the finer points would be under negotiation. In response to this, the vast majority of more than 40.000 junior doctors voted in favour of taking industrial action. An overwhelming 98% of the balloting members voted YES to strike!
3. Just one day after Jeremy Hunt announced the new contract terms, over 1600 doctors applied for documents needed to migrate abroad in search of better working conditions like Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Such a development would result in critical reduction of stuff numbers in an over-stretched NHS, with longer waiting hours for GP appointments, surgeries and treatments.

The Junior Contracts plans will not just affect the junior doctors. It will affect each and every one of us who at some point will seek for medical care in the NHS either for us or for our beloved ones. The Junior Contracts plans are just a small sample of this government’s austerity policies for which the NHS is a burden against the “balance of the books” and they need to get rid of it without appreciating the importance of people’s health. It’s these policies we need to fight against, policies that derive from the most aggressive parts of UK’s capital, policies that are directed from the EU and are dramatically affecting people’s lives.

As Greek migrants living in the UK, we have already seen this happening in Greece. Similar or even tougher policies have been imposed on the Greek NHS under the Memoranda terms and leading in a massive influx of junior doctors to Europe including the UK. This dramatic loss of junior doctors had considerably negative impact to the society leading to a further overstretching of the healthcare services in Greece.  Similarly, other junior scientists being affected from the recession and austerity policies such as job and salaries cuts migrated as well, depriving the country from it’s scientific workforce. All the previous have given us the experience and confidence to reject and demand the overthrow of those unjust NHS plans that the Tory government is about to impose. We will be joining the JDs fight; we will be chanting with them in the streets, that this IS NOT FAIR, NOT SAFE.

We fully support Junior Doctors’ struggle and we call all the Greek people who have migrated and live in the UK, the working class of Britain and the migrants to stand in solidarity with their struggle! We shall all stand with them at the picket lines and the following protests in London and all the other English cities that will be joining the fight.  Their struggle is our struggle to SAVE OUR NHS!

We are concerned about the recent developments in Syria and its effects on the international arena.

Accordingly, the relation between Turkey and Russia entered into an alarming and dangerous process.

Therefore, we the trade unions from Russia and Turkey are compelled to make a joint statement.

We would like to remind on behalf of the workers from Russia and Turkey that the international problems should be resolved by peaceful methods but not by war, violence, or economic sanctions.

We, the workers from Russia and Turkey, support joint struggle against terrorists and similar organizations that are enemies of humanity in the social sphere, but not confrontation of our peoples. This is not only a responsibility for humanity but also a requirement of international law.

Politicians of the both countries should rigorously refrain from implementing policies that suggest the Cold War period and, on the contrary, reinforce neighbourhood relations.

It is well established that deterioration of political, economic, and social relations between the two countries and emergence of a war threat would first affect the workers’ families. The tension would bring nothing but poverty and death.

For centuries labour movement has defended and is a staunch advocate of peace and fraternity against war.

We respectfully announce the same to the people of Russia and Turkey, and the international public opinion.

A unique attack in European history took place on Friday night. Terrorists related to the Islamic State (according to the information until now) killed more than 129 people with almost 200 injured, a lot of whom are in a critical condition. The testimonies, specifically from the Bataclan concert hall, in the 11^th arrondissement are horrifying. Terrorists shot in the crowd and killed people one by one, whilst they were belted with explosives for accomplishing their aim when police would arrive.

The shock of this attack is greater than ever. The black ravens of the EU and extreme right wing invest on this feeling of mourning and anger. Marie Le Pen, seeking for a way to appear as the only reliable power of security, referred to the ‘right but belated’ borders’ closure asking for its permanent expansion and for the rearmament of the French police and army. This is the centrepiece of her political party campaign of intimidation and islamophobia. The failed and respondent to financial scandals, ex-president Sarkozy referred to the war that terrorists declared and highlighted the need for response, apparently military response in and outside France. The big winner, president Hollande, whose popularity was in the lowest post-war rates, stated that he was devastated, declared the French State in emergency starting strict controls in the borders and highlighted the need for national unity. Contrary to this ‘holy alliance’, the French political parties have already begun to juxtapose the Syrian refugees who constitute the direct reason for borders’ closure. The victims of ISIS, who defied many hardships in order to escape from them, are equated to terrorists.

These attacks, ten months after these on Charlie Hebdo, confirm a dreary phenomenon in the French society. The perpetrators have not been identified, however it seems that most of them were French citizens. French citizens of a lower level, excluded, poor, recruited by the Islamofascists of ISIS either to fight in the Middle East or to prepare attacks in the countries of unbelievers. A cycle of blood that is fed by the imperialist interventions which are greatly supported by the latest ally of Tsipras, Francois Hollande. During a period in which the French army is interfering in more countries than the USA and that after the attacks of November 13^th is expected to increase its forces. ‘Social-democrat’ Hollande struggles to become the bloodiest president of post-war France, having already interfered in Mali, Libya, the Central African Republic and of course in Syria. In Syria, the blind air attacks against the Islam fascists of ISIS, partisans and Assad sympathizers have started again in the last days after the arrival of the Charles De Gaul aircraft carrier in the area.

The military arm of European imperialism is fully expressed through the militaristic development of France in recent years. In perfect harmony with Germany which has undertaken the role of policing the EU’s internal and financial affairs, France has followed a policy outlined by Sarkozy since 2007 and has strengthened the French army so that it can intervene abroad. The direct interventions in Africa, M. East and the indirect intervention in the Ukraine show the trend of European Imperialism which is becoming increasingly aggressive, within and outside EU borders.

Another element that has met an enormous increase after Charlie Hebdo is the counter-terrorist action of the police and the army. An action whose only effect, as was demonstrated in the most tragic way, apart from costing the French taxpayer is to reduce freedoms and to target the most excluded parts of the population even more and is considered as the only mode of action against the collectively “evil”. In fact, in his statement after yesterday’s tragic events, President Hollande warned that the implementation of the emergency status, will free police to raid homes without need for judicial intervention.

The stance of the Front de Gauche is also sad. Its two main components, the Parti de Gauche and the PCF have aligned with the wave of national conciliation. The first by postponing the conversation about the causes and highlighting the issue of defending the Republic, while the PCF, more vulgar as usual, backs the emergency status.

Fortunately, the honor of the left was saved by the Lutte Ouvriere and the NPA when they refused to leave aside the enormous responsibility of the policies of the French State. The slogan of the announcement of the comrades of the NPA “Vos guerres, nos morts”, “Your war, our dead” expresses us perfectly. As in Ankara a little while ago, as in Syria every day, we do not tolerate any national unity with those who conduct wars. The islamofascism of ISIS has faced a much more dynamic response from the Rozava guerillas than from those who nurtured it and no longer control it.

But, the hardest, most difficult and timely task of the revolutionary left is to reverse the tide of Muslim youth towards the Islamofascism of ISIS. This cannot be done by wishing it and the French left has moved away from these segments of the population. Once again it is shown that radical events like the uprising of the suburbs 10 years ago do not necessarily lead to a shift to the left. Today when ISIS volunteers throughout the civilized West multiply, we know very well that the imperialist centers cannot and do not want to reverse this climate. Today, we must become the stanchion of the refugee, the immigrant, the excluded, by putting forward class solidarity, thus removing him from the vortex created by the state repression and the semblance of significance offered by the fascists.

Government-Troika escalate the war against the people

The new SYRIZA-ANEL government implements the barbarian measures of the third memorandum starting the war against the workers, the farmers, the youth.

National budget of poverty. Destruction of pension system. Huge taxes for the people and provocative tax-exemptions for businessmen and ‘investors’. Seizures-auctions of houses. Clearance sale of public property, starting from the ports, airports, railway, energy. New payroll in the public sector with reduced wages, definitive abolition of contracts in private sector. Destruction of small and medium farmers and self-employed people.

These policies aim at supporting capital profitability in order to overcome the historical crisis of capitalism destroying every popular and working right. Their goal is also the continuation of speculation of borrowers and bankers. All these against a society that suffers.

NO TO THE NEW PENSION SYSTEM THAT CONVERTS SOCIAL INSURANCE FROM A COLLECTIVE RIGHT TO AN INDIVIDUAL OBLIGATION

Specifically, with the new pension system the new government aims at applying the full abolition of the social character of insurance and its retributive function. Each of us will pay for his/her insurance. Their plan for the new pension system releases the state from its liabilities, securing just a national pension of 200 euro, leading to super-low pensions. It releases capital from its contribution. After 40 years of employment, the retirement age increases to 67 years old, leading the workers to work until they die and the youth to permanent unemployment.

We will not wait, we do not have any illusions! All workers and people need to resist! In order to impose our ‘NO’!

Tsipras’ lies about a ‘parallel plan’ and that he will apply the Memorandum with ‘social character’ collapse, as from now until December they are in a hurry to implement these austerity measures which will determine a lot of things for the next decades.

They are forgetting something. Against the climate of “there is no alternative” and of disappointment which the government and media are promoting, the resistance has already started at seaports and hospitals and by seamen, shopkeepers etc.

We must fight for the overthrow of the attack by the government- capital – EU – IMF. For the abolition of all the memoranda and the reactionary “reforms” of the capital. For the defeat of the SYRIZA-ANEL government through the struggles of a popular – labour movement. To open a new path to Greek society.

Let’s make the 12^th of November strike a defining moment in our struggle. A stepping stone for the next step. So that the battles are strengthened in each industry and every space. We continue and escalate after the 12^th of November in order to beat back all attacks!

WE FIGHT FOR:

• An exclusively public sector insurance scheme, on the basis of social needs with insurance for everyone. Pensions at the age of 60 (55 for women) or after 30 years of work. Full insurance for all kinds of flexible employment and periods of unemployment paid by the employers and the state. No pensions bellow 900 euros. Abolition of all reactionary insurance laws. A return to the public funds of everything that was stolen from them (like the 11 billion euros of the PSI, the reserves which were taken during the first half of 2015, the 70 billion euros which were looted until 2010 with structured bonds etc.)
• Measures against the nightmarish unemployment here and now. Unemployment benefitswithout preconditionsat the heightof the minimum wage. At least 40 thousand recruitments in the education and health sectors so that the gaps are filled and they don’t collapse. Regular recruitments to stop the outrage of the employers grants and the unemployment recycling programs. Nationalization of all closed factories and their reopening under workers control. Reduction to the retirement age and working hours.
• Increases in wages. Immediate enforcement of a minimum wage of 751 euros. Restoration of collective agreements and wages in the public and private sector to 2009 levels. Against discrimination towards younger workers.
• No privatizations. Nationalization without compensation and operation under workers control of banks and strategic enterprises.
• The defense of farmers from the EU and landlords. The protection of the self employed from tax plunder, the liberalization of markets and the advance of multinationals.
• Asylum and housing to immigrants and refugees. Legalisation of all immigrants and refugees, no to ‘Europe fortress’. Frontex out of Greece. We demand the abolition of Frontex. We demand the end of the Evros fence. We demand safe and free border crossing. We demand the abolition of the Dublin II Treaty. Stop the imperialist wars. No participation of Greece in these wars. We demand the conviction of fascist murderers of Golden Dawn.

We can impose these goals by rupture with the capital, the one-way of exploitation, the EU and IMF. We need to continue by no-legitimation, stopping payments and writing off the debt. We need to struggle for exiting the Eurozone and EU.

With the organised people for the overthrow and rupture up to the end!

The government has proven that it is hostile for the working class and the people. They make efforts to convince us that there is the only one way, this of Memoranda, as Samaras, Venizelos and Papandreou did, otherwise the country will collapse.

In reality, what are collapsing are the illusions cultivated by SYRIZA that it will abolish the memoranda without breaking with the capitalists, the creditors and their state, inside the Eurozone and the EU. The “neither rupture, nor subjection” policy.

In this new round which is starting, we must take our struggle to the end. Without retreating to the blackmails of the creditors and employers which we will find before us, as in the battle for the “NO”.

The battles to come can be won by a class reconstructed workers movement and the organized people. With assemblies and comities of struggle in the workplaces. By building our own coordination from bellow with the comities of struggle and grassroots unions, with popular assemblies in the neighborhoods. With common action with all the fighting forces of the movement and the left.

Against the new government and employer unionism which sees struggles as ceremonial rifle shots. With a plan, coordination and escalation so that our battles are won, so that Tsipras has the luck of…Giannitsis!

 ΑΠΟΦΑΣΗ ΤΗΣ ΑΠΟ 30.08.2015 ΣΥΝΕΔΡΙΑΣΗΣ ΤΟΥ Π.Σ.Ο.

1. Οι πολιτικές εξελίξεις και οι  επερχόμενες εκλογές.

Δυο μήνες μετά το σαρωτικό ΟΧΙ και την ψήφιση του Μνημονίου από την κυβέρνηση ΣΥΡΙΖΑ-ΑΝΕΛ, η χώρα οδηγείται σε εκλογές κάτω από το βάρος της διάσπασης και της ουσιαστικής κατάρρευσης του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ.

Η κυβέρνηση κατέρρευσε γιατί επέλεξε την προώθηση ενός τρίτου, βάρβαρου και σε ανοιχτή σύγκρουση τόσο με το 61% του συγκλονιστικού ΟΧΙ  όσο και με το μαζικό ρεύμα προς τα αριστερά που την έφερε στην εξουσία και το οποίο αρνείται να αποδεχθεί το συμβιβασμό με τους εκβιαστές, αρνείται να πάει σπίτι του και επιμένει να αντιστέκεται. Οι αγώνες των τελευταίων  πέντε χρόνων που γκρέμισαν διαδοχικά τις κυβερνήσεις ΓΑΠ, Παπαδήμου και Σαμαρά – Βενιζέλου, αλλά και ο πόθος της εργατικής τάξης και του λαού να τελειώνει με τα μνημόνια  δεν ανακόπηκαν μετά τη νίκη του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ το Γενάρη, όπως έλπιζαν οι διεθνείς εκβιαστές και οι ντόπιοι υποστηριχτές, αλλά ενισχύθηκαν και βάθυναν, όπως έδειξε και η έμπρακτη απάντηση της λαϊκής πλειοψηφίας στα τρομακτικά διλήμματα που της τέθηκαν με αφορμή το δημοψήφισμα..

Με αυτές τις αμείωτες προσδοκίες της εργατικής τάξης και του κινήματος, αποφάσισε να συγκρουστεί η ηγεσία του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ υπογράφοντας το νέο Μνημόνιο, ελπίζοντας ότι θα καταφέρει αυτό που δεν μπόρεσαν οι κυρίαρχες δυνάμεις της ΕΕ και τα παραδοσιακά κόμματα της άρχουσας τάξης. Και κατάρρευσε από τα αριστερά, οδηγώντας τον ίδιο τον ΣΥΡΙΖΑ σε μια υπαρξιακή κρίση.

2. Παρά την στήριξη των «μέσων» ο Τσίπρας και ηγεσία του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ όχι μόνο δεν είναι «κυρίαρχοι του παιχνιδιού», όπως λένε παραδοσιακοί και νέοι αυλοκόλακες, αλλά σπρώχνει στην έξοδο από το κόμμα και την επιρροή του χιλιάδες αγωνιστές της Αριστεράς. Οι κυοφορούμενες ανακατατάξεις εντός της αριστεράς είναι ιστορικού βεληνεκούς και όχι μια απλή διάσπαση. Οι ανακατατάξεις αυτές γίνονται στην βάση μιας αριστερής διαφωνίας ενάντια στον δεξιό μετασχηματισμό του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ. Γίνονται κατ’ αρχήν από μια σκοπιά εκπροσώπησης ταξικών συμφερόντων, από μια πλευρά αριστερής κριτικής στο ευρώ, την ΕΕ και  κομβικές πολιτικές επιλογές του συστήματος. Κριτική που μάλιστα σε ένα σημαντικό τμήμα της είναι αδιαμεσολάβητη από συγκεκριμένες οργανωτικές μορφές, κάτι που την κάνει εν δυνάμει, μέσα από μια κοινή πορεία, ανοιχτή στην προσέγγιση μιας αντικαπιταλιστικής λογικής.

Σήμερα ανοίγει  η δυνατότητα για την αποκρυστάλλωση βαθιών και ουσιαστικών συμπερασμάτων από όλη την προηγούμενη περίοδο, καθώς η πορεία μέχρι την ψήφιση του Μνημονίου επικυρώνει την χρεοκοπία βασικών όψεων της τακτικής που είχε ξεδιπλώσει ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ:

• Καταρχήν της διαπραγμάτευσης εντός των πλαισίων του ευρώ και της ΕΕ, της ιδέας δηλαδή μιας πιο φιλολαϊκής διαχείρισης εντός των ορίων που τίθενται από τους θεσμούς αυτούς. Και αυτή η κατάρρευση δεν συντελείται απλά στο πλαίσιο της ιδεολογικής διαπάλης εντός της αριστεράς αλλά αποτελεί πολιτική εμπειρία εντός της κοινωνικής πλειοψηφίας.
• Επιπλέον ηττάται η ιδέα της ενοποίησης/συνύπαρξης τμημάτων της σοσιαλδημοκρατίας με τμήματα της ριζοσπαστικής αριστεράς κάτω από την ηγεμονία της σοσιαλδημοκρατικής διαχείρισης. Ηττάται η ενοποίηση ρευμάτων δημοκρατικού σοσιαλισμού και αριστερού ριζοσπαστισμού υπό το αίτημα μιας εντός του συστήματος φιλολαϊκής πολιτικής.
• Κατά τρίτον ηττάται η λογική ότι η έστω και μερική αμφισβήτηση του μνημονιακού πλαισίου περνάει μέσα από την διαχείριση του κράτους με την λογική της συνέχειας, την λογική της συμμαχίας με τα εγχώρια και ξένα κέντρα εξουσίας και όχι αυτής της συγκρότησης του λαού στην κατεύθυνση της σύγκρουσης και της ρήξης, στην κατεύθυνση της ταξικής ανασυγκρότησης του εργατικού και λαϊκού κινήματος.
• Τέλος, καταρρέει η γραμμή η οποία εν πολλοίς κυριάρχησε στην αριστερά τα τελευταία 15 χρόνια, ότι τομίνιμουμ πολιτικό πλαίσιο που αποκρύπτει τις απαραίτητες ρήξεις που προϋποθέτει μια ανατρεπτική, αντισυστημική πολιτική μπορεί να ενώσει λαϊκά στρώματα και να επιβάλει την αλλαγή των πολιτικών συσχετισμών, μπορεί να κλυδωνίσει την κυριαρχία του κεφαλαίου.

3. Βασικός στόχος των κυρίαρχων δυνάμεων την περίοδο αυτή είναι η σταθεροποίηση του πολιτικού συστήματος για την επιβολή των βάρβαρων μνημονίων, πράγμα που περνάει μέσα από την στήριξη του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ σαν κύριου κυβερνητικού πόλου για την προώθηση κυβερνήσεων «εθνικής ενότητας». Για μονιμότερες συνεργασίες του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ με ΝΔ-ΠΑΣΟΚ-Ποτάμι που ψήφισαν μαζί το νέο Μνημόνιο., (που πιθανή πρόβα γι αυτό αποτελεί η σύνθεση της νέας υπηρεσιακής κυβέρνησης)

Ο δικός μας στόχος στις εκλογές είναι: Να βαθύνει το ρήγμα που άνοιξε διάπλατα το δημοψήφισμα στην κυρίαρχη αστική πολιτική. Να βγει αποδυναμωμένο το στρατόπεδο της διαχείρισης του νέου Μνημονίου. Να ενισχυθεί αποφασιστικά  η Αριστερά που παλεύει εδώ και τώρα για ρήξη και ανατροπή της πολιτικής του μαύρου μετώπου κεφαλαίου-ΕΕ-ΔΝΤ. Στόχος που περνάει μέσα από:

• Την αποφασιστική καταδίκη όλων των μνημονιακών κομμάτων (ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, ΝΔ, ΠΑΣΟΚ, ΠΟΤΑΜΙ) και των φασιστών της Χρυσής Αυγής, από «αριστερά».
• Την ενίσχυση της πολιτικής που επιδιώκει την ανατροπή των μνημονίων / την ρήξη με τους εκβιαστές και τους οικονομικούς δολοφόνους της ευρωζώνης και της ΕΕ και την  αστική τάξη στην Ελλάδα. Γι  αυτή τη μεγάλη σύγκρουση είναι αναγκαία η ολόπλευρη ενίσχυση της ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ.

4. Οι πρωτοβουλίες της ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ και η εκλογική της παρέμβαση.

Στις 21 Αυγούστου η ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ κατέθεσε πρόταση εκλογικής και πολιτικής συνεργασίας προς αριστερές δυνάμεις, συμπεριλαμβανομένης και της ΛΑ.Ε .

Η βάση της πρότασης ήταν ένα πλαίσιο συγκεκριμένου πολιτικού και ταξικού προσδιορισμού των δύο δρόμωνπου συγκρούονται στην ελληνική κοινωνία:  από την μια ο δρόμος των φρικτών μνημονίων, της ανεργίας, της διαρκούς επιτροπείας και από την άλλη ο δρόμος της ρήξης με τις δυνάμεις του κεφαλαίου, την ΕΕ και το ΔΝΤ. Ένας δρόμος έξω από ευρώ – ΕΕ, χωρίς χρέος και μνημόνια, με την πεποίθηση  ότι δεν μπορεί να υπάρξει «ενδιάμεση» πρόταση, πρόταση «φιλολαϊκής διαχείρισης» μέσα στα πλαίσια της ευρωζώνης, της ΕΕ και του καπιταλιστικού μονόδρομου. Ένα πλαίσιο πάνω στους βασικούς κόμβους  του προγράμματος της ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ.

Μ’ αυτό το πλαίσιο απευθυνθήκαμε στην ΛΑ.Ε στην ΜΑΡΣ, το «Σύλλογο Κορδάτο», το «ΔΕΝ ΠΛΗΡΩΝΩ», τον « ΕΡΓΑΤΙΚΟ ΑΓΩΝΑ» και σε άλλες κινήσεις και ρεύματα της αριστεράς.

Στο βαθμό που υπήρχε συμφωνία πάνω στο παραπάνω πρόγραμμα, η πρόταση της ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ αφορούσε μια ισότιμη εκλογική συνεργασία δύο μετώπων και όχι προσχώρηση της ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ στο μέτωπο της ΛΑ.Ε.

Μετά από δύο  συναντήσεις που έγιναν με την ΛΑ.Ε  προέκυψε ότι δεν υπάρχουν προϋποθέσεις για εκλογική συνεργασία, διότι υπάρχει διαφωνία καταρχήν στο προγραμματικό πλαίσιο και την πολιτική  κατεύθυνση. Δεύτερον, στον χαρακτήρα και τον τρόπο συγκρότησης του μετώπου που πρότεινε η ΛΑ.Ε. Τρίτον, στην έλλειψη όρων ισοτιμίας.

Ειδικά σε ότι αφορά την πολιτική κατεύθυνση –όπως αποτυπώνεται στην δημόσια παρουσία  και το πλαίσιο θέσεων της ΛΑ.Ε, η ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ τοποθετήθηκε κριτικά, εκτιμώντας ότι σε γενικές γραμμές κινείται σε κατεύθυνση «προοδευτικής, ριζοσπαστικής, διαχείρισης και διακυβέρνησης», παρά τις όποιες θετικές ή αρνητικές διατυπώσεις, που κι αυτές έχουν την σημασία τους. Ο χαρακτήρας του μετώπου που προτείνεται από τη ΛΑ.Ε ορίζεται ως «αντιμημονιακός, δημοκρατικός, πατριωτικός, προοδευτικός», πράγμα που δεν εκφράζει τον ριζοσπαστισμό, την ταξικότητα και το πολιτικό βάθος του ΟΧΙ. Δεν κάνει την αναγκαία τομή με  την ρεφορμιστική στρατηγική  του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ που έδειξε στην πράξη ότι καταλήγει σε αδιέξοδο.

Για αυτό η ΚΣΕ της ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ εισηγήθηκε προς τις Τοπικές της Επιτροπές την απόρριψη της εκλογικής συνεργασίας με την ΛΑ.Ε. Το σύνολο των ΤΕ που συνεδρίασαν έως τώρα υιοθέτησαν την εισήγηση της ΚΣΕ με συντριπτική πλειοψηφία.

Επομένως η ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ θα παρέμβει αυτόνομα στις εκλογές. Καλεί όλες τις δυνάμεις, αγωνιστές και συλλογικότητες που συμφωνούν με μια πολιτική ρήξης / ανατροπής με την πολιτική κεφαλαίου-ΕΕ-ΔΝΤ και το πρόγραμμα στόχων που αποτυπώνεται στο «ανοιχτό κάλεσμα της ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ», στην «κοινή δήλωση» των 4 οργανώσεων κλπ να δώσουν την επερχόμενη εκλογική μάχη από θέσεις πολιτικής και εκλογικής  συνεργασίας με την ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ. 

5. Οι άλλες δυνάμεις:

Ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ θα προσπαθήσει να παρουσιάσει μια πορεία «αριστερής» και με «κοινωνική ευαισθησία» διαχείρισης του μνημονίου. Να υποστηρίξει ότι η μη επανεκλογή του θα δικαιώσει την «αριστερή παρένθεση». Να θέσει το ψεύτικο δίλημμα «μνημόνιο με ευρώ η μνημόνιο με δραχμή». Στόχος να διατηρήσει, με την στήριξη της αστικής τάξης και της ΕΕ, την πρωτοκαθεδρία του στο αστικό πολιτικό σύστημα στις μελλοντικές κυβερνητικές λύσεις. Χρειάζεται ισχυρή αντιπαράθεση με την επιχειρηματολογία του.

Η ΝΔ, παρότι φθαρμένη και με κρίση ηγεσίας, προσπαθεί να επανακάμψει φιλοδοξώντας την πρωτοκαθεδρία (με βάση και την κρίση στο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ και τους ΑΝΕΛ) στο νέο μετεκλογικό σκηνικό. Παραμένει ο βασικός εγγυητής του συστήματος και  της «ευρωπαϊκής πορείας της χώρας». Προβάλλει και προωθεί την πολιτική της «εθνικής ενότητας». Επιχειρεί, μέσα από την κριτική σε επιμέρους πλευρές του μνημονίου να αποκαταστήσει τους τραυματισμένους δεσμούς με μικρομεσαία στρώματα.

Το ΠΟΤΑΜΙ, το χαϊδεμένο παιδί των καναλαρχών και της ΕΕ,  με τον ρόλο του στο δημοψήφισμα έδειξε ότι αποτελεί μία από τις πιο αντιδραστικές δυνάμεις την ελληνική κοινωνία. Συμβάλλει στη σταθερότητα του συστήματος σε κάθε επικίνδυνη στροφή, πιέζει για όλο και πιο αντιδραστικές αλλαγές. Ο ρόλος του παραμένειεξαιρετικά επικίνδυνος και μια ορισμένη διείσδυσή του σε τμήματα της διανόησης και της νεολαίας πρέπει να αντιμετωπιστεί με ιδιαίτερο μέτωπο απέναντί του.

Το ΠΑΣΟΚ θα προσπαθήσει να κερδίσει χώρο «στα κεντροαριστερά» του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, οικοδομώντας μια «συνεπή κεντραριστερά». Η στρατηγική του παραμένει η ίδια, παρά την αλλαγή ηγεσίας. Δύσκολα θα καταφέρει να ξεπεράσει τα ιστορικά του αδιέξοδα και πιθανότατα η κατάρρευσή του θα συνεχιστεί.

Συνολικά οι δυνάμεις του ΝΑΙ στο δημοψήφισμα έχουν υποστεί μια πρόσφατη σκληρή ήττα. Παρά την ευκαιρία που τους δίνει η «προσγείωση προς τον ρεαλισμό» της ηγεσίας του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, η «συνυπευθυνότητα» και η συνολική τους εμποδίζει την δημιουργία ρεύματος προς τα δεξιά,. Μια μαχητική καμπάνια από τα αριστερά με την καθοριστική συμβολή της ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ μπορεί να τους στερήσει κάθε ελπίδα να σηκώσουν κεφάλι.

Η Χρυσή Αυγή προσπαθεί να εμφανιστεί σαν «πατριωτική αντιμνημονιακή αντιπολίτευση», καραδοκεί να συσπειρώσει τον αντιμνημονιακό, πατριωτικό, αντιαριστερό κόσμο που «προδόθηκε», όπως λένε, για μια ακόμη φορά, τώρα από την αριστερά και τους ΑΝΕΛ.. Δεν πρέπει να υπάρχει κανένας εφησυχασμός, να παλέψουμε για την ισόβια καταδίκη της εγκληματικής συμμορίας αλλά και στο πλευρό των προσφύγων και των μεταναστών  ενάντια στη ρατσιστική ισλαμοφοβία και την Ευρώπη – φρούριο.

6. Βάση και αφετηρία της πολιτικής μας εξόρμησης στις εκλογές είναι το κεντρικό συμπέρασμα που προέκυψε από την τραυματική για τον λαό και την αριστερά εμπειρία της 6μηνης διακυβέρνησης ΣΥΡΙΖΑ.Ότι για να καταργηθούν τα μνημόνια χρειάζεται εδώ και τώρα ρήξη και ανατροπή με κεφάλαιο-ΕΕ-ΔΝΤ. Μια ρήξη που μπορεί να την κάνει μόνο ο οργανωμένος λαός με τα όργανα και το μέτωπό του.Για να ανοίξει ο δρόμος για την ανατροπή του καπιταλισμού, για μια κοινωνία χωρίς εκμετάλλευση.

Καμιά «φιλολαϊκή», «ενδιάμεση» και διαχειριστική πρόταση δεν μπορεί να υπάρξει στα πλαίσια του «ευρωπαϊκού» και καπιταλιστικού μονόδρομου. Αυτό είναι ΤΟ ΚΥΡΙΟ ΚΑΙ ΒΑΣΙΚΟ ΣΥΜΠΕΡΑΣΜΑ όλης της προηγούμενης περιόδου.

Στο κεντρικό ερώτημα ποιος θα κάνει πράξη την ανατροπή της αντεργατικής επίθεσης, απαντάμε: Η ανατροπή περνά μέσα από την πάλη για την αντεπίθεση και ταξική ανασυγκρότηση του εργατικού, λαϊκού και νεολαιίστικου κινήματος, την οικοδόμηση των οργάνων αγώνα κι επιβολής της λαϊκής θέλησης, τον κλονισμό της εξουσίας του κεφαλαίου  και τελικά την κυβέρνηση και την εξουσία των εργαζομένων.

Πάνω στην βάση αυτή προκύπτουν, με βάση την πείρα των μαζών ορισμένα  βασικά συμπεράσματα τα οποία μπορούν και πρέπει να γίνουν μαζικά κτήμα των εργαζόμενων.

Πρώτο: Δεν υπάρχει καμιά περίπτωση για φιλολαϊκές αλλαγές μέσα στο πλαίσιο της ευρωζώνης και της ΕΕ. Η ρήξη/αποδέσμευση από αυτούς τους μηχανισμούς του κεφαλαίου είναι προϋπόθεση για να ζήσει ο λαός.

Δεύτερο: Δεν υπάρχει καμιά περίπτωση για φιλολαϊκές αλλαγές χωρίς ρήξη με την αστική τάξη, ντόπια και ξένη (τραπεζίτες, μονοπωλιακούς ομίλους, πολυεθνικές, εφοπλιστές κ.λπ.), χωρίς να κλονιστεί και τελικά να αφαιρεθεί ο πλούτος, η ιδιοκτησία και η εξουσία των δυνάμεων του κεφαλαίου

Τρίτο: Δεν μπορεί να γίνει «εργαλείο» και «όχημα» για την  ανατροπή μια «αριστερή κυβέρνηση», που  θα εγκλωβίζεται στα όρια του «κοινοβουλευτικού δρόμου» και θα δρα μέσα στα πλαίσια των ιμπεριαλιστικών μηχανισμών (ΕΕ, ΝΑΤΟ), της εξουσίας του κεφαλαίου και του σημερινού αστικού κράτους, έξω από την δημιουργία και ανάπτυξη  αυτοτελών οργάνων αγώνα κι επιβολής της λαϊκής θέλησης. Αυτή η ρεφορμιστική λογική οδήγησε στη ψήφιση νέου μνημόνιου. Για αυτό και εκδοχές μιας «αληθινής κυβέρνησης της αριστεράς» κινδυνεύουν να επαναλαμβάνουν το ίδιο λάθος.

Τέταρτο: Για να νικήσουμε απαιτείται ένα κοινωνικό και πολιτικό μέτωπο που να αναμετριέται με τον συνολικό ταξικό αντίπαλο το «μαύρο μέτωπο» κεφαλαίου-ΕΕ-ΔΝΤ, τις κεντρικές του επιλογές, και το σάπιο πολιτικό σύστημα που τις υπηρετεί και να βάζει στόχο την ανατροπή του. Δεν αρκεί το «αντιμνημονιακό» και «αντινεοφιλελεύθερο» μέτωπο

7. Σε σχέση με τις δυνάμεις της αριστεράς.

Το ΚΚΕ θα προσπαθήσει να αξιοποιήσει την βίαιη στροφή του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ για να δικαιώσει όλη του την πολιτική, ανάμεσα σε αυτά  και την στάση του στο δημοψήφισμα, και να αναδειχτεί στον μόνο «συνεπή» πόλο συσπείρωσης. Την επίδραση αυτής της επιχειρηματολογίας δεν πρέπει να την υποτιμήσουμε. Θα δυναμώσει την επίθεση στην ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ, αλλά και στην ΛΑ.Ε ως «ανάχωμα».

Με όλα αυτά θα επιχειρήσει να καλύψει την καταστροφική γραμμή αποστασιοποίησης από την αντικαπιταλιστική, αντιΕΕ διέξοδο και την πολεμική του στους πολιτικούς στόχους ρήξης στο σήμερα, που φτάνουν στο σημείο της υιοθέτησης της επιχειρηματολογίας του αντίπαλου ειδικά το θέμα της εξόδου από την ευρωζώνη, που αποτελεί και μια κεντρική αιχμή της αντιπαράθεσης.

Η ΛΑ.Ε από την άλλη πλευρά με την επιστροφή στην στενή «αντιμνημονιακή ρητορική», στο όνομα της πλατύτητας του «αντιμνημονιακού μετώπου»  μοιάζει να μην βγάζει τα αναγκαία συμπεράσματα και έτσι κινδυνεύει να επαναλάβει  την πορεία του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ από το ‘12 μέχρι σήμερα. Παραγνωρίζοντας ότι τα ζητήματα  της ρήξης με την ευρωζώνη/ΕΕ και την αστική τάξη μπήκαν σαν έμπρακτο δίλημμα στον λαό και σε μεγάλο βαθμό απαντήθηκαν με το μεγαλειώδες ΟΧΙ.

Παρά τις υπαρκτές διαφορές, πρέπει και μπορούμε να ενώνουμε τις δυνάμεις μας στην κοινή δράση ενάντια σε όλα τα μέτωπα της αντεργατικής επίθεσης.

8. Η ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ το επόμενο χρονικό διάστημα, στην πορεία προς και μετά τις εκλογές, θα δώσει όλες της δυνάμεις:

• Στην μάχη για την ανατροπή των μνημονίων  και κάθε κυβέρνησης που τα υπηρετεί.
• Την προβολή του αντικαπιταλιστικού μεταβατικού προγράμματος που αποτελεί την καλύτερη απάντηση απέναντι στους ισχυρισμούς που χρησιμοποιεί η ηγεσία του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ ότι δεν υπάρχει εναλλακτική, προσπαθώντας να περιθωριοποιήσει την εργατική αντίσταση και την αριστερή αμφισβήτηση.Διαγραφή του χρέους χωρίς καμία διαπραγμάτευση. Ρήξη και έξοδος από ευρώ, ΕΚΤ και ΕΕ. Επιβολή εργατικού ελέγχου στα κλειδιά της οικονομίας, τιε τράπεζες και τις επιχειρήσεις για να τσακίσουμε κάθε προσπάθεια εκβιασμού και φυγάδευσης κεφαλαίων. Δεν χωρούν αυταπάτες ότι κάποια από τα παραπάνω μπορούν να μείνουν για αργότερα. Σε συνθήκες κρίσης του καπιταλισμού όπως σήμερα, το πρόγραμμα της αντικαπιταλιστικής ανατροπής είναι η μοναδική ρεαλιστική διέξοδος.
• Την πιο πλατιά ενωτική δράση μέσα στο κίνημα και τους αγώνες. Μαζί με τα πρωτοπόρα κομμάτια των εργαζόμενων και κάθε μαχόμενη δύναμη της αριστεράς, την ΛΑ.Ε και άλλες δυνάμεις που διαφοροποιούνται από την μνημονιακή πολιτική του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ,, τις δυνάμεις του ΚΚΕ – παρά τον σεχταρισμό της ηγεσίας του.. Θα στηρίξει τις μαζικές, ενωτικές λαϊκές επιτροπές του ΟΧΙ  σαν κύτταρα αγώνα, διαλόγου και όσμωσης των αγωνιστών και των ρευμάτων του κινήματος. Παράλληλα επιδιώκουμε τον κοινή δράση και την συνεργασία σε επίπεδο εργατικών σχημάτων, γειτονιών/αυτοδιοίκησης κλπ με τον μαχόμενο κόσμο που αποχωρούν διαφοροποιούμενοι από ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, ανεξάρτητα από το αν εντάσσονται στην ΛΑΕ ή όχι και το ΚΚΕ.
• Η πρόταση της ΚΣΕ για πολιτική συνεργασία παραμένει ενεργή. Ως εκ τούτου, συνεχίζουμε σειρά επαφών με όλες τις δυνάμεις της ριζοσπαστικής αριστεράς και κάθε διαφοροποίηση από τον ΣΥΡΙΖΑ και το ΚΚΕ. Συμβάλλουμε να αναπτυχθεί ο πιο πλατύς διάλογος ανάμεσα σε όλες τις δυνάμεις και ρεύματα που αγωνιούν για την αριστερά που απαιτεί η εποχή μας.
• Στην κατάρτιση των ψηφοδελτίων για τις επερχόμενες εκλογές στόχος είναι η ισότιμη παρουσία γυναικών και νεολαίας. Η ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ θα συζητήσει την αρχή αυτή για όλη της την συγκρότηση στην πορεία για τη Συνδιάσκεψή της.

9. Το ΠΣΟ καλεί όλες τις δυνάμεις και τους αγωνιστές της ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ να δώσουν με οργανωμένο τρόπο, ενωτικά και αποφασιστικά και αυτή την μάχη. Η ΑΝΤΑΡΣΥΑ με το κύρος της αγωνιστικής της στάσης, της πολιτικής της και την συμβολής της στην λαϊκή νίκη της   5^ης του Ιούλη έχει την ικανότητα και την δύναμη, να ανοίξει νέους δρόμους στην αριστερά  με όλο τον κόσμο που μάχεται και αγωνιά.

ANTARSYA denounces the Turkish state’s war against Kurdish people

ANTARSYA watches with concern the developments and denounces the attacks of the Turkish state against the Kurdish men and women in the broader Middle East.

The government, after discontinuing every pacificatory process with the PKK (Labor Party of Kurdistan) hitting military targets at Qandil mountain in Iraq, has unleashed a barbaric campaign with women and children victims, generally non combatant civilians at the Turkish Kurdistan area.

At the same time, using as pretense the war against “terrorism”, military operations take place every day targeting the Kurdish movement and not the barbarians of the so called “Islamic State” (ISIS), which is an imperialistic planning’s creation.

In this war which has already cost hundredths of lives until now, the wolf pack of USA, EU and NATO, with the complicity of the Greek government, become factors of instability, war and destruction, giving open support to the plans of Erdogan for bombing the Kurds and creating a “safe zone” in the area inside Syrian borders. At the same time, a few days ago the bases of Incirlik in Turkey have been given to USA’s aircrafts for air-attacks inside Syria. This zone aims to service their imperialistic plans. Practically it is not targeting ISIS, but the Kurdish movement and the socialist experiment of Rojava. It will be a zone of instability, with nonexistent people’s rights, a zone which creates waves of refugees from the Middle East area.

No to the parliamentary coup and to the twisting of the NO that people voted for

General uprising against the signing of the new loan agreement, against the implementation of its reactionary laws, against the new memorandum

Overthrow of the policies of the black front- All out confrontation with any variant of the “memorandum government”

1. The agreement reached by the government and the lenders is a complete, humiliating surrender to the demands of the latter. It’s a deeply reactionary and unpopular new memorandum, which promotes mass abolition of the few rights that were left, reactionary “reforms” – restructuring and tougher exploitation. It includes brutal anti-insurance measures, taxation without end, preservation and expansion of poverty for the working class, crushing of the middle and lower classes and peasants, massive sell-off of public property, infrastructure and networks, anti-trade union laws, release of seizures of primary residence.

The provision for the controlling of almost all public property to the new TAIPED under the “supervision” of the Troika, the agreement for the return of Troika back to Athens, the provision for annulment – review of already voted laws, the requirement for prior agreement with the troika regarding each bill before it even comes out in consultation reveal a huge violation of any notion of democratic and popular sovereignty. We are talking about modern colonialism by the capital, creditors and European bureaucracy. Already, the first prerequisites passed yesterday by the parliament, with the agreement of the government, New Democracy, PASOK and POTAMI, which shows that the majority of parliamentary parties line with the motto of “national unity” around the memorandum policy.

Promises of “opening the debate on debt relief” and “Juncker investment package” are used as needed counterbalance in order to pass the new memorandum. Besides, even if these promises come true, they gonna be incentives for the capital’s interests, while the working class and the people will face poverty, extremely low wages, employer terrorism and social destruction.
The coalition of SYRIZA – ANEL proceeded to a parliamentary coup by embezzling the grand NO of the reek people, turning it into a same deal if not worse than that was voted down. No argument, no excuse that the people “did not want a rapture with EU” is valid. The people voted NO with the banks closed and the opponent recruited each weapon to cultivate fear and blackmail that voting NO means rupture and Grexit. The people stood up and spoke. It is a shame for the government to load its choices on the people.

The government cannot continue to govern neither as “minority government”, nor as “government of special purpose” backed up by the bourgeoisie parties. The choice of implementing this frightening memorandum in the name of the Left by a government dependent on New Democracy-PASOK-Potami is a disaster for the people, but also for the whole spectrum of Left. The government of Tsipras has neither formal nor substantial legitimacy to sign the new agreement and bring to a vote the additional “prerequisites”.

2. We can stop the new memorandum! After this high percentage of NO, all the forces of labor and peoples movement, the fighting forces of the Left can and must stand up to block the proceeding of the agreement and its implementation. We have to use the experience of struggles and radicalization of the previous five years as well as the struggles occurred in the last five months. The time of responsibility has come. Any direct or indirect support or tolerance of the agreement, is backing the black front of capital- EU- IMF. The terrorists of EU and IMF, the Greek oligarchy and the media, the government SYRIZA-ANEL will receive a new, more profound, more class, more conscious NO in the frame of rupture with EU and Eurozone, with strikes, demonstrations, mass uprising!

Milestones to fight for the coming period are:

• Block the pass of the new memorandum of EU- IMF- government SYRIZA – ANEL, supported by New Democracy, PASOK, Potami.
• Rupture now with the EU, IMF and exit from the Eurozone and EU
• Stop payments and full debt write off
• Nationalization of banks and large companies under workers’ control
• Reversal of memorandum policies and of any government implementing them

3. Objectively, the agenda now brings the question of another Left. Many people understand that any change towards the benefit of the workers cannot take place within the EU and they do understand that EU means memoranda, poverty and tutelage; rupture- exit from EU is needed.
In addition, there is massive breaking away of members, cadres and supporters of SYRIZA and the communist party (KKE) due to its unacceptable stand regarding the referendum. The two parties of the reformist Left were against or not in line with peoples’ moods.

4. Our task is the development of the labor movement and in general the peoples’ struggle to block the reactionary memoranda. We struggle in the trade unions with the workers and the people, calling any fighting left force for new strikes and demonstrations next week.

We promote our action for the formation of peoples’ committees for “NO TILL THE END”. There is significant experience so far in many districts.

ANTARSYA will contribute to a sociopolitical initiative of unionists, activists of the labor movement and the youth, intellectuals, etc. for the “NO of rapture with EU” in order to promote united processes with the people from the perspective of the necessary program of rupture with EU and Eurozone.

5. We forward the political rallying of anticapitalist, anti-imperialist, anti-EU forces and currents in continuation of the initiatives so far. We seek for the intervention of the joined forces in new developments with their declarations, for taking political initiatives and for giving a permanent form to their coordination.
